AZ Legislative Alert: FOP Works to Prevent Proposed Bill Likely Would Eliminate Off Duty Work for LEO’s
UPDATED: 1/27/2012. The FOP was sucessful in modifying the original bill before it was introduced – thereby, preserving off duty employment. See SB1245
The security guard companies will run two bills this year, one bill would prevent law enforcement officers from being licensed as a security guard agency. The other Another security guard bill would have effectively eliminated all off duty jobs for law enforcement officers.
